Life and Business Coaching - ILM endorsed Award
As more and more people become aware of the effectiveness of coaching for both personal and professional life it can be difficult to find a course that will inform, provide coaching tools and be endorsed by a recognised awarding body. Key Associates has sought to address this situation by the development of a new ILM Endorsed Award designed for those who wish to develop coaching skills and who at present do not fit the ILM Criteria for existing coaching qualifications. This programme will allow participants to develop a firm understanding of the ethics of coaching and to identify a range of coaching models that could be used in a variety of contexts. Those who may benfit from the course include:-
- those within a workplace situation who do not currently meet the criteria set down by ILM for the Level 3 Certificate in Coaching for Team Leaders and First Line Managers
- those within the community or voluntary sector who have an interest in applying the principles and practice of coaching within their group
- those private trainers who have heard about coaching and who would like to learn more
- those who have an overall interest in coaching

Candidates be those who have a desire to explore the role of a coach and who wish to develop / enhance coaching skills
Training Methods
The course will be delivered in a range of ways designed to suit participants. Experiential learning will be used along with discussion, direct training, course notes, triad work, and home study assignments and coaching diary.
